Responsibilities
Participate in planning and attending the Zebra signature event(s), which the Zebra Centre leads.
Collecting auction items, arranging for entertainment and activities during the event, creating and assembling décor, securing sponsorships, promoting ticket sales
Promote Zebra events and activities within the community through their networks
Volunteer at third-party fundraising and community awareness events, as needed
Build bridges with targeted communities, including educators, sports teams, various business sectors
Share Zebra communications through personal and professional networks
Advise Zebra Centre staff on strategic communications and media stories
Serve as community ambassadors
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
18 years of age or older
No record of a criminal offence
Can provide two references
Can engage in conversations with stakeholders
Time Commitment
Volunteers are expected to contribute a minimum of 5 hours per quarter
Location
Community events across Edmonton (transportation not provided).
