Bill Meade has over 35 years of leadership in community and children’s services, with a career focused in the non-profit and government sector. As a multi-disciplined leader, Bill has held senior leadership roles with the Alberta Government and the Child and Family Services Authorities of Calgary and Edmonton in addition to his experience with the RCMP as a constable on the Enoch Cree Nation.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Calgary, a Masters of Business Administration from Athabasca University, and is the two-time recipient of the Alberta Premier’s Award of Excellence in addition to the Melvin Jones Fellow for dedicated humanitarian services.
His passion for supporting children and families has been demonstrated throughout his career, and Bill continues to bring this passion and experience as he leads the Zebra Centre’s groundbreaking work.
